Bachelor and Master - DACD
The Department of Environment Constructions and Design offers 9 degree programs (Bachelor’s and Master’s), recognized in Switzerland and abroad, that prepare students for professional careers in the fields of construction, design, heritage conservation, planning, and interdisciplinary management: from architecture to interior architecture, from civil engineering to conservation and restoration, from visual communication to interaction design, up to the new Bachelor of Science in Sustainability and Systemic Transition.
Enrollment for Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes for the 2026-2027 academic year is open from 15 November 2025. Open Days, online information appointments and numerous other opportunities to gather useful information for choosing one's course of study are available to all interested parties.

Bachelor's and Master's degrees offer a qualified entry into the world of work and enable students to continue their studies both at SUPSI and at other universities. Some courses can be taken part-time.

Bachelor
First university degree, lasts three years full-time and is equivalent to 180 ECTS credits.
Master
Second university diploma, it aims to broaden and deepen the knowledge acquired during the Bachelor. 90 or 120 ECTS credits are certified.

The "Assisted Practice Year" (APA) is an opportunity to gain first-hand professional experience in a design studio in the construction or design field and to become familiar with the different phases of planning and execution of a construction project.
The course is intended for students who have either a high school diploma or a professional diploma not related to the field of construction and design and who, therefore, do not meet the criteria for direct access to the Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture and Civil Engineering.
